Kobe's Reputation Still Marred.

He scores over eighty points in a single game. He wins an all-star MVP award in a rare, impartial Las Vegas All Star game a season later. Now, he's seen on you tube jumping over moving cars and playing more of a 'team-player' role in championship contending Los Angeles. Despite all this, many people are still remembering one nineteen year old girl's accusation against Kobe Bryant for rape. Though he was aquitted, private details got out in the open, details that portrayed his character as brutally forceful, as well as highlighting his infidelity. Will people ever see Kobe in the same light as they once did before the 2004 incident. What do you think. I'm all ears.

It should not affect his game .It is his personal buisness.
His popularitty may suffer. A lot of parents may still object to their children wearing his jerseys and possesing his memorabelia.

His reputation is still suffering if you ask me. It may be years before he's ever seen as a healthy role model for young people.

I think that type of accusatiion can shadow the accused forever, especially since so many private happenings were made public. We should not, however, allow a player's personal life to affect our appreciation of their skill, athlesticism, and dedication to the game.
